Our follow up project after Live at Elektro Müller is called postPost – Grand Central, and we expand from 50qm to 38.000qm.
Its so far the biggest ever interim use in Düsseldorf. The main ambition is to create a cultural spot which is supposed to bring together artists and cultural work projects and provide space for experimenting and presenting.
The buildings are conceptually divided into three kinds of use. Thirty ateliers and studios with daylight are located on two floors of the former administrative wing. Underneath one can find open space for exhibitions and pop up galleries. Works that are developed in the studios can be shown inside the club room which functions as a connection between ateliers and general public; e.g. photography exhibitions, concerts, film screenings, lectures, performances or fashion shows.
